As a Transpower Graduate and future leader you will be immersed in our world and play a part in shaping the future of New Zealand’s electricity industry.
Right from day one, you’ll be given challenging work and take on real responsibilities that will accelerate your learning.
Professionals skilled in power systems and transmission line engineering, and the management of transmission grids, are in high demand worldwide. There are so many opportunities available in this dynamic field.
We recruit the following types of graduates:
- electrical engineering
- mechatronics graduates who have completed power system papers
- mechanical engineering
- civil engineering
During our two-year programme, based in our Head Office Waikoukou in Wellington, you'll rotate through various areas of the business. You'll gain a broad knowledge of what we do, how we work, and who we work with. By working in different areas in the business you’ll get the chance to explore how you wish to shape your future with us.
